ENSA and CTC are looking for new formulas of collaboration to develop innovation projects in Cantabria

October 22, 2019.- CTC  and ENSA held a working meeting to explore new ways of collaborating to carry out possible R+D+I projects that will contribute to solving the technological challenges facing companies in the medium term. This type of session, which will be held on a regular basis, further strengthens the excellent relationship that exists between CTC and the leading Cantabrian company in the nuclear sector.

Beatriz Sancristóbal, General Manager of CTC, and Álvaro Rodríguez, Head of Market and Business Development, led a meeting with a representation from Nuclear Teams, comprising Emma Merino, Coordinator of Technological Improvements and R+D+I, and Domingo Lima, Area Manager of ENSA’s Advanced Technology Centre.

During the meeting, it became clear that the specialization of the only Technology Center in the region in areas of knowledge, related to Industry 4.0, nanomaterials or digital twins, is a powerful tool on which to base innovative approaches that lead to technology transfer projects. Likewise, the spokespersons of CTC explained the special sensitivity of the centre towards future projects such as the possibility of designing safer fuels for nuclear power plants.
