Goal 15
PROTECT, RESTORE AND PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE USE OF TERRESTRIAL ECOSYSTEMS, SUSTAINABLY MANAGE FOREST, COMBAT DESERTIFICATION, AND HALT AND REVERSE LAND DEGRADATION AND HALT BIODIVERSITY LOSS
In 2014 we carried out a study of the basic state of the environment that could potentially be affected by our activity and in 2015-2016 we evaluated the environmental risks in accordance with the requirements of Law 26/2007 on Environmental Responsibility and its development regulations.
A large part of the surface area occupied is destined for gardens or green areas, which makes it possible to manage these areas in a way that is coherent with the ecosystems of the surroundings, helping to conserve biodiversity. Ecological gardening criteria are included in the maintenance activities of the gardens and green areas.
Ecological gardening that lets nature do its work, trying to reduce the consumption of resources (water, energy) and potentially polluting products (chemical fertilizers and pesticides). Practices such as: prioritizing the use of native species that are adapted to local conditions and are more resistant to pests and weather conditions. Eradication measures for invasive species, such as duster, are also applied.
