END HUNGER, ACHIEVE FOOD SECURITY AND IMPROVED NUTRITION AND PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
We offer our workers lunch through a concessionary company. We include as criteria for the evaluation of the offers:
Measures to minimize food waste
Purchase of organically produced food
Purchase of animal products with high welfare standards
Purchase of seasonal products
C Buy in bulk or in containers with high recycled content
Use of environmentally friendly paper products
Minimizing the use of hazardous chemicals and using environmentally friendly cleaning products
The current company redistributes surplus food and finances community gardens, provides practical advice for people at risk of malnutrition and helps consumers make a difference through its Stop Hunger products and Stop Hunger Week campaign, which generates funds for Stop Hunger.
Likewise, we contribute through the diffusion on internal screens and information boards of solidarity campaigns for the collection of food (Great Collection of Food organized by the Food Bank of Cantabria) to be given to the most disadvantaged people in our region.
